PRQA Helps Create New MISRA Standard For C++
QA·MISRA Will Enforce MISRA-C++:2008
BOSTON, April 2, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- PRQA|Programming Research, the leading provider of coding standard enforcement solutions, today announced they will enforce MISRA-C++:2008.
QA·MISRA™, the most widely-used solution for the automatic enforcement of the current MISRA Guidelines, will support MISRA-C++:2008. PRQA will release its added enforcement capability immediately upon MISRA's public release of the new standard.
PRQA already delivers the highest level of automatic enforcement available for MISRA-C:1998 and MISRA-C:2004, the MISRA standards now available for the C language. PRQA is confident that it will maintain its worldwide leadership position in MISRA enforcement when it adds support for the upcoming MISRA-C++:2008 coding standard.
PRQA is a founding member the MISRA-C Working Group and has actively provided key technical guidance and assistance to MISRA since they first began promoting best practices for software development in the automotive industry. PRQA made significant contributions to help MISRA create its first MISRA-C standard and has continued to aid them through its evolution. MISRA also referenced the JSF++ coding standard document in MISRA-C++: 2008.
