Compiler Support

QA·C/C++ supports a wide range of compilers by providing a flexible, configurable environment to tailor the system for just about any variation on the C and C++ languages.

To facilitate compiler configurations that aren’t included in the default installation package, we provide the COMPILER PERSONALITY GENERATOR to automatically produce the necessary configuration for you.

This easy-to-use wizard-based utility just needs some basic information about the compiler to produce the required files to get you up and running quickly.

Although it is possible to integrate QA·C/C++ into any IDE that can invoke external tools, PRQA delivers pre-configured IDE integrations:

To facilitate the most efficient day to day use of static analysis, PRQA provide integrations into the most popular integrated development environments (IDEs).

These “out of the box” plug-in modules provide developers with the ability to analyze and review the results of analysis while inside their IDE so a seamless, non-intrusive process can be followed.

Using the IDE is not only beneficial from the point of view of having your favorite editor available during analysis review, but enables compilation and analysis to occur concurrently as the code is written.
